libbyNorth Carolina Digital Library (NCDL) supplies both eBooks and eAudiobooks to check out and use. Using the Digital Library requires a current library card, log in with the bar code number on the back and enter pin. eBooks from NCDL are protected using Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM).

NCKids Digital Library is another North Carolina Digital Library that is geared specifically for children. These eBooks and audiobooks will always be available for download. NCkids makes sure that children will always have a book to read with no wait times.

Freegal® is a free music service from your library. All you need is your library card number and possibly a PIN if your library utilizes them. Freegal offers access to about 15 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists, and over 40,000 music videos. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 40,000 labels with music that originates in over 100 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Access to Freegal is limited to patrons of subscribing libraries.


hoopla
Hoopla is a digital media service offered by NCLive that allows library patrons to borrow audiobooks and ebooks for you to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone. Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. To access Hoopla Lincoln County Public Library patrons should select NCLive as their library.

NC Live is the state's electronic library, created to give you access to online resources including eAudiobooks. To log in to NC Live at home, choose Lincoln County Public Library from the drop-down menu and type in your library card number.
